Established in 2002, Brent Engineering Inc has become involved in both public and private civil works projects that include earth and rock work, structures and miscellaneous items of work to complete projects such as highways, dams, dredging, and land development.
In addition to being a General Engineering Contractor, Brent Engineering designs and manufactures specialty equipment for the purpose of its projects as well as for other clients.
Located in Irvine California, Brent Engineering Inc exports modified and standard Caterpillar equipment to both domestic and international markets.
Established in 1981, Prairie Roadbuilders Limited has been active in public and private civil works projects that consist of highway. railroad, dam, airport and commercial and residential subdivisions.
The geographical area of work performed by Prairie Roadbuilders Limited is mainly northern Alberta with civil works projects outside of Alberta being performed by its sister companies North Pacific Roadbuilders Limited in British Columbia and Saskatchewan and Brent Engineering Inc. in Southern California.
The size and scope of projects completed by Prairie Roadbuilders Limited range from 10,000 m3 to 7,000,000m3 of excavation of earth and rock and the installation of bridges, retaining walls, asphalt paving and miscellaneous work associated with completion of a complete project.
Prairie Roadbuilders Limited is an employee owned company based in Edmonton Alberta that owns a fleet of over 200 pieces of late model Caterpillar equipment ranging from scrapers (627 – 657’s), dozers (D4 – D11’s) motor graders (14 – 16’s) excavators (320 – 375’s) and miscellaneous support equipment.

North Pacific purchases and disposes of land required for its related civil works contracting companies (see Prairie Roadbuilders and North Pacific Roadbuilders) and also develops unimproved land into both commercial and residential properties.
Incorporated May 1999, North Pacific Equipment became the resource company for the North Pacific / Prairie group of companies providing heavy equipment and support services necessary for the completion of major earthwork projects.
North Pacific Equipment invests on an ongoing basis in primarily Caterpillar equipment to meet the requirements of its related contracting companies.
